Pueblo man killed Friday night: family seeking justice

PUEBLO, Colo. (KRDO)-- On Friday around 10:00P.M, Pueblo Police Officers were called to the 1700 block of Constitution Rd. on a report of a shooting. Officers located a deceased adult male on scene.

PPD said this is the 22nd homicide investigation by the City of Pueblo this year.

A family reached out to KRDO and confirmed that the man who past away Friday night was 22-year-old Leo Leonardo.

Leonardo's family said he was helping his family take in groceries at the Casa Del Sol apartments when someone shot him on the stairs.

Leonardo is now leaving behind 2 young boys.

The family is demanding justice and is hoping the community will notify the police if they have any information regarding what happened to Leonardo.

According to PPD, this does appear to be an isolated incident with no further threat to the community.

Pueblo PD said they have no suspects at this time.
