Doggy Trick or Treat Event Sunday to benefit local rescue and training facility

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- Halloween is fast approaching! Sunday afternoon a local business is holding a unique trick or treat event especially for furry family members!

Sunday from 12 to 4 p.m. the second annual doggy trick or treat and costume contest will be held at Red Leg Brewing in Colorado Springs. It's put on by All Breed Rescue and Training.

13 vendors will be on-site at different stations passing out treats and other goodies to pups. A doggy costume contest will be held at 2 p.m. with prizes for those who place first, second, and third.

During the event, $1 from every beer is donated to All Breed Rescue and Training.

The free event provides a unique way to spend the holiday together with your furry best friend and benefit a great cause.

Red Leg Brewing is located at 2323 Garden of the Gods Rd. in Colorado Springs.
