COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- The United States Olympic & Paralympic Museum will host Teacher Appreciation Weekend this weekend, Oct. 15 and 16.

Over the weekend, all educators will receive free admission. A school identification will be required at the door.

On Saturday, the museum will also launch its first Kid's Club event. Kids grade K-8 will learn about Becoming Your Personal Best, the Museum’s resiliency program sharing life lessons from Olympians and Paralympians. Four-time Olympian and BYPB ambassador Hunter Kemper will lead kids through the Museum. The tour will include a torch artifact showing and other activities throughout the journey.
