Colorado Springs police search for suspect in three armed robberies
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- Police are searching for two suspects, one of which is believed to be involved in a string of robberies across Colorado Springs.
On Sept. 15, the Colorado Springs Police Department says a male suspect entered the 7-Eleven store at 1011 S. 21st St. and pointed a gun at the cashier, demanding money. Before police arrived, the suspect managed to take an undisclosed amount of money and left on foot.
Police say that the same 7-Eleven was robbed on Sept. 27, at 12:30 a.m. by the same suspect. According to police, he entered the store and pointed a firearm at an employee, once again demanding money. He managed to get an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing on foot.
Then, on Sept. 28, police say two male suspects entered the Diamond Shamrock store at 2455 Arlington Dr. at 11:02 p.m. CSPD says both suspects had firearms and demanded money from a store employee. After getting an undisclosed amount of money, they both fled on foot.
Now, the CPSD says one of the suspects is believed to be linked to the two additional robberies. He's described as a 20-year-old man, 5'9", with a thin build, and a light mustache.
