CSPD violent crimes detectives investigating three separate deadly incidents Monday night

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) violent crimes detectives are investigating three separate deadly incidents Monday night.

One incident occurred in the area of Tejon and Cimarron in downtown Colorado Springs.

Police describe this incident as only a disturbance and an individual at the scene is dead. CSPD said officers arrived and found the victim unconscious on the ground. The incident happened in front of the offices of the McDivitt Law Firm, but police don't believe the incident is connected to the business.

Police also responded Monday night to a shooting at the Wind River Apartment on 19th St., just north of Uintah.

Officers arrived at the scene around 7:30 p.m. and found the victim in the parking lot with at least one gunshot wound. The victim was rushed to a hospital but they died from their injuries.

Police are also at a home on Erie Dr., just southeast of Prospect Lake Monday night. Officers at this location are investigating another suspicious death.

CSPD said they received a call after 8 p.m. about a possible body in a garage. Officers arrived at the scene and confirmed the woman was dead. They also observed things that led them to believe the victim did not die of natural causes or an overdose.

No information about suspects in any of these three incidents is available at this time.
