CPW hosting 1st annual Recreation For All Festival this weekend at Fisher’s Peak State Park

CPW/KRDO

TRINIDAD, Colo. (KRDO) -- Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) is hosting the first annual Outdoor Recreation For All Festival this weekend at Fisher's Peak State Park in Trinidad.

CPW said the event will be centered around accessibility in the outdoors and will be provided for individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities and their friends and families.

The main attraction at the event will be a pumpkin festival, but attendees will also be able to blend nature and art by learning about local wildlife, getting their faces painted, getting their hands and toes dirty, learning about and riding in tracked wheelchairs, and playing backyard games.

The Recreation For All Festival is being put on thanks to a partnership between CPW and ABC Disability.
