Trinidad woman accused of bear spraying people during firework show pleads guilty to one felony charge

TRINIDAD, Colo. (KRDO) -- A woman accused of assaulting people with bear spray during a fireworks show in Trinidad has pleaded guilty to one felony assault charge.

24-year-old Korie Howlett still faces two additional assault charges after being arrested outside of Central Park Stadium in July.

A second investigation was also opened against Howlett for a separate incident involving dangerous chemicals.

Sentencing for Howlett is scheduled for December.
