Serious rollover crash injures 2 in south Colorado Springs
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) is investigating a rollover crash that sent two people to the hospital.
The crash happened around 1:20 a.m. Thursday, in the area of Hwy. 115 and Clubhouse Dr. When officers arrived they found the vehicle upside down on the shoulder.
Two people were still trapped in the vehicle when officers arrived. Those occupants were rescued and transported to the hospital. One had life-threatening injuries, the other serious injuries. A third occupant was able to get out of the vehicle on their own.
Both alcohol and speed are considered factors in this crash. The road reopened just after 5:30 a.m. An investigation is ongoing.
