Join Colorado Parks and Wildlife at Lost Friend Brewing Co. to enjoy Dogs with Jobs brew
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- This Sunday, enjoy a nice cold one with Colorado Parks and Wildlife at Lost Friend Brewing Company in Colorado Springs. The fundraiser and specialty brew, Dogs with Jobs, is part of the department's CPW On Tap Program.
Beginning at noon, people can enjoy beer and purchase specialty glassware while helping a good cause. According to CPW, a dollar from every sale of Dogs with Jobs, described as a delicious Colorado Spruce Kolsch, and a dollar from every glass will go back to CPW to support the K9 Officer program.
People are encouraged to arrive early because just under 300 glasses will be released.
CPW says K9s are trained to help locate animals, evidence, suspects, and protect their officers. Additionally, these dogs help expedite investigations
During Sunday's event, CPW will be at the brewery with the K9s for a meet and greet plus put on a presentation on K9 Hard Releases.
Ricky's Island Cafe will also be there serving food.
The event will last until 7 p.m. at Lost Friend Brewing Company.
