CSPD investigating bank robbery on west side

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- The Colorado Springs Police Department is investigating a bank robbery that took place Monday on the city's west side.

According to police, officers responded to a call regarding a bank robbery just before 4 p.m. on Monday. The robbery occurred in the 1100 block of W. Garden of the Gods Rd.

Police said their investigation revealed that a male suspect entered the bank and demanded money. He then fled the area with an undisclosed amount of cash. No injuries were reported.
