Gov. Polis orders flags lowered to honor passing of Indiana Rep. Jackie Walorski

COLORADO (KRDO) -- Thursday, Governor Jared Polis ordered flags to be lowered to half-staff in honor of the passing of U.S. Representative from Indiana, Jackie Walorski, as directed by President Biden.

Walorski died in a car wreck Wednesday that also killed two of her staffers.

Walorski, who was 58, represented Indiana's 2nd Congressional District and had previously served as a member of the Indiana House of Representatives. She began serving in Congress in 2013.
