Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum is kicking off ‘The Gift of History’

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- The Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum (CSPM) is starting its largest fundraiser, "The Gift of History" on August 2.
This year, the CSPM will kick off its annual Gift of History campaign with a week of public programs to show how the institution fulfills its mission to build a lasting connection to the Pikes Peak region by preserving and sharing our cultural history.
“Gift of History is a time when we invite our community to learn about the work we do. Engaging the public is central to our institution’s mission. We are excited to kick off this year’s campaign with a week of programming from Food Truck Tuesday to a Family Fun Day," said Matt Mayberry, CSPM Director.
The institution aims to raise $100,000 to support its powerful exhibits, innovative programs, and the preservation of the artifact and archival collection.
Events include Food Truck Tuesday, Lunch & Learn: How do you write a book about the place personality of Colorado Springs, a new volunteer information session, Gift of History Making Memories Downtown History Stroll, and Gift of History Family Fun Day.
