Chaffee County needs Red Cross volunteers
CHAFFEE COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO) -- Chaffee County is currently seeking more American Red Cross volunteers.
They are asking residents in the southeastern Colorado region specifically Chaffee County residents that are willing and able to help sign up to assist.
The American Red Cross says that experts predict this will be a very busy year for wildfires. Because of this, the American Red Cross needs help.
The relentless pace of severe disasters has created additional and ongoing emergency needs, especially for families who have been displaced year after year by extreme weather events. The need to help during disasters has never been greater, according to the American Red Cross.
