Colorado Springs woman accused of pimping and prostitution pleads not guilty
EL PASO COUNTY, Colo, (KRDO) -- A Colorado Springs woman accused of pimping other women and prostitution pleaded not guilty to all charges.
Shirley King, 30, was arrested in September 2021 after the Colorado Springs Police Department raided an "adult entertainment" party. Police say she brought multiple women to a party to perform sex acts for money.
She faces the charges of Keeping A Place of Prostitution, Prostitution, Pandering-arranging Prostitution, and Pimping. Wednesday, she pleaded not guilty to all four charges.
Court documents obtained by 13 Investigates say CSPD's Metro Vice staged the party with an undercover officer at an Airbnb in Colorado Springs. King arrived at the party with her boyfriend, who was acting as security, and four alleged workers.
CSPD said King was running a "tantric massage business" at Sutra Healing Center.
