Two bull moose are being relocated from Colorado Springs by Colorado Parks and Wildlife

CPW

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) had to tranquilize two bull moose so that they could be relocated on July 8, 2022.

The moose were hanging out in Colorado Springs, a little too close to I-25, according to CPW.

CPW made the decision to tranquilize the two moose in order to relocate them to safer moose habitat.

Videos on the CPW twitter show that the community pitched in to help move the giant animals. CPW says that the smaller moose weighs about 500 pounds.

After the animals were safely loaded, they were driven to Teller County where they will be released.
