Intersection closure planned for Fontanero and Chestnut for paving operations

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- A full closure of the Fontanero and Chestnut intersection is planned.

The closure will occur from July 11, 2022, to July 15, 2022.

Traffic will be detoured north to Fillmore Street and south to Uintah Street. Recreation Way is also available for use on the east side of Interstate 25.

The closure is part of the Centennial Boulevard Extension project.
