Colorado Springs illicit spa owner sentenced to jail time, currently unable to operate business

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- Thursday, the owner of a Colorado Springs spa found guilty of felony pimping was sentenced to jail time and can no longer own or operate a business.

According to the Fourth Judicial District Attorney's Office, 56-year-old Xinan Xia was sentenced to 90 days in jail, six years of probation, and 300 hours of community service. He's not able to own or operate a business during his probation

On April 22, 2022, Xia was found guilty of felony pimping, a single count of keeping a place of prostitution and pandering for prostitution.

Xia was the owner of Rose Day Spa, which was busted by the Colorado Springs Police Department in December 2020.
