Thursday Weather: Hot Today With Scattered Storms

Today: It's going to be a hot day today with highs near 90 in Colorado Springs and low to mid 90s in Pueblo and across the eastern Plains. Afternoon storms will erupt around 2pm and last through 7pm. Mountain locations will see more widespread rain today.

Tonight: Afternoon storms and cloud cover will decrease through the evening and will will clear out by Friday morning. Lows will drop to near 60 for much of the areas with 40s and 50s expected in the high country.

Extended: Friday night a cold front will sweep through the region and cool temperatures off. This will also increase rain chances on the Plains for Saturday. Widespread showers and storm expected. Saturday night another cool front will push through and drop temps even further on Sunday. Rain showers and storms are yet again going to be widespread Sunday and this will last through Monday.
