Major crash blocking southbound Powers Blvd. at Astrozon Blvd.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- Police are reporting a major crash near the Colorado Springs Airport.

At 3:56 p.m., the Colorado Springs Police Department reported the intersection of S. Powers Blvd. and Astrozon Blvd. is closed.

At 4 p.m., the Colorado Springs Fire Department reported southbound Powers Blvd. is getting shut down in that area.

Powers/Astrozon blocked by a major crash. Please avoid the area.
