At 2:19 p.m., CDOT announced the closure of southbound I-25 was extended to cover between Exit 132: Mesa Ridge Parkway and US 85.

According to Colorado State Patrol, the initial call came in at 2:10 p.m. CSP says it was initially reported there were eight-vehicle involved.

Later, the Fountain Police Department announced there were six vehicles involved, including a tractor-trailer and a pickup truck that was pulling a tiny house.

At this time, CSP is unclear if there is more than one semi jackknifed. CSP did confirm to KRDO that one had a ruptured gas tank and was leaking fuel. Hazmat is on the way.
