Monument Police uncover weapons, methamphetamine, and more from stolen vehicle

MONUMENT, Colo. (KRDO) -- While checking a suspicious vehicle, an officer with the Monument Police Department uncovered multiple weapons, drugs, and stolen property.

According to the MPD, an officer initiated a patrol check after observing a suspicious vehicle. Later, it was determined that vehicle was stolen.

While investigating the stolen vehicle, the MPD says the officer found multiple firearms, knives, methamphetamine prepared for distribution, and other stolen items.

The Monument Police Department said the individuals involved were associated with multiple CTAs in El Paso County.
