City of Manitou Springs to host Chipper Day in effort to clear out fallen trees and branches

MANITOU SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- The City of Manitou Springs will be hosting a Chipper Day event in effort to help the community clear out fallen trees and branches.

The event will be held as scheduled:

Friday, May 27

8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Public Works Facility (101 Banks Place)

Saturday, May 28

8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Public Works Facility (101 Banks Place)

Saturday, June 4

8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Dropped-off tree limbs must be less than 4 inches in diameter. The city will accept scrubs if the root ball has been removed. Any construction materials, bags of leaves, grass clippings, or other waste is prohibited.
