Teller Co. Public Health Department accepting donations for crews fighting High Park Fire

TELLER COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO) -- The Teller County Sheriff's Office released information on how people can help firefighter teams battling the High Park Fire.

According to officials, the Teller County Public Health Department is accepting donations Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.

The sheriff's office is asking for the following items at this time:

  • Moleskin
  • Toothbrushes
  • Jerky
  • Rolaids/Tums, etc.
  • Coconut water
  • Sunscreen
  • Individual Packets of:
    • Peanut Butter
    • Wipes
    • Tuna

The High Park Fire started Thursday and has since grown to more than 1,500 acres.
