Police investigating rollover crash in east Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- Police are investigating a crash that resulted in a jeep rolling over onto its hood in East Colorado Springs.

According to the Colorado Springs Police Department, a school bus slowed down to make a right turn onto Geiger Boulevard, toward District 11's bus barn, but couldn't due to a truck in the westbound turn lane on Geiger Court.

The driver of the truck was waved down by the bus driver to make the turn onto Wooten Road just when a Jeep behind the bus went around and passed the bus on the left side.

As the Jeep proceeded to pass, the truck t-boned the jeep, which caused it to roll.

Police say they've yet to determine who was at fault, this is still an open investigation.
