Colorado DMV offices correct ‘connectivity errors’ can now issue credentials
COLORADO (KRDO) -- The Colorado Division of Motor Vehicles says service has been restored to its systems after technical issues forced offices around the state to cancel appointments Wednesday.
and are once again able to issue credentials, including driver licenses, identification cards, and instruction permits.
At 9:23 a.m., the DMV first reported connectivity errors, saying their offices are unable to "issue credentials. "
By 11:45 a.m., officials said the issues were still ongoing and said they were working on fixing the problem as quickly as possible.
According to the state, credentials refer to a driver license, identification card, instruction permit, and CDL.

The state says they are reaching out to people who have appointments to reschedule them. People can also reschedule a new appointment here.
When asked how they were helping people who had canceled appointments, the state told KRDO they were "prioritizing rescheduling appointments for people impacted" by Wednesday's issues.
The DMV went on to say the department approaches each appointment on a "case-by-case basis" and will work with affected Coloradans to reschedule appointments that fit with their schedules.
KRDO reached out to the DMV regarding the number of Coloradans affected by Wednesday's outage and is waiting to hear back.
