Colorado Springs Police: victim in April 25 shooting dies

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- The Colorado Springs Police Department reports that the man who was found shot in the backseat of a car has died.
On April 25, officers responded to the 4300 block of Airport Rd. on reports of a shooting at 10:01 a.m. At the scene, they found one victim who had been shot. He was taken to a hospital.
Tuesday, police announced the victim succumbed to his injuries and died on April 30. The victim has not been identified yet.
According to CSPD, this is the 18th homicide in Colorado Springs in 2022. At this time last year, there were nine homicides.
