Colorado Springs man arrested in Sexual Exploitation of a Child investigation

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- A Colorado Springs man is in custody after an investigation into the Sexual Exploitation of a Child.

According to police, the Colorado Springs Internet Crimes Against Children task Force executed a warrant in the 600 block of Castlewood Drive Thursday after a "lengthy online undercover investigation."

The Colorado Springs Police Department says evidence obtained during the search led to the arrest of 58-year-old Jimmy Edward Garcia.

Garcia was booked into the El Paso County Criminal Justice Center and is being held without bond until he sees a judge.
