Monument Police find missing 14-year-old

MONUMENT, Colo. (KRDO) -- A teenager that had run away from home was found safe and unharmed thanks to a good Samaritan.

Police first reported 14-year-old Natsou Raymos Bugg missing just before 6 p.m. The Monument Police Department said Bugg was last seen at 6:30 a.m. in the area of Blizzard Valley Trail.

According to police, Bugg has Autism and is high functioning, however, he had not received proper administration of necessary medication when he went missing.

Search teams initially found some of his belongings on Mount Herman. That prompted additional agencies to join the search, including the El Paso County Sheriff's Office, El Paso County Search and Rescue, the Palmer Lake Police Department, Tri-Lakes Monument Fire Protection District, and Homeland Security.

Just before 10 p.m. Wednesday, police say Bugg was found and had been returned to his family.

Monument officials confirm the missing teen was found, just before 10:00 p.m. Wednesday.

According to officials, a civilian driving on Highway 105 recognized him and picked him up. They then dropped him off at a fire station, where officials determined he was unharmed.
