First responders aid injured hiker at Pulpit Rock

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- The Colorado Springs Fire Department responded to Pulpit Rock to help an injured hiker.

Crews reported the incident just before 2 p.m. Monday. According to CSFD, multiple fire companies are in the area and hiking in to rescue the hiker.

Engine 14, Engine 5, and Truck 5 found and rescued the hiker, who had extremity injuries.

The hiker was taken to a local hospital to be evaluated.
