Massage therapist arrested for allegedly assaulting a client
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- A man faces charges after a woman claimed he sexually assaulted her during a massage.
On May 25, Colorado Springs police received reports of a sexual assault. The victim told police she was sexually assaulted by her massage therapist. Police say the assault happened at the suspect's home/business at 735 North Walnut Street.
The suspect, identified as 54-year-old Raymond Welling, was arrested Wednesday for the charge of Sexual Assault-Fake Medical Exam, which is a class 3 felony.
Detectives with CSPD believe unreported sexual assaults may have occurred with additional clients. According to CSPD, Welling claims to have a certification in a process referred to as ROLFING, however, he is not a licensed massage therapist.
