Mountain Metro offers new route to Colorado Springs Airport

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- A new bus service to the Colorado Springs Airport is about to begin. Starting Sunday, Mountain Metro will have express trips to the airport.

Route 37 is expected to run seven days a week, from 6:15 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. The route will begin at Hancock Plaza, and make a stop at the Integration Loop, and end at the airport.

Mountain Metro says this new route offers a transportation option for travelers, as well as employees of the new Amazon facility which will soon open nearby.

Route 37 will also connect with other routes to provide transportation options to Security-Widefield and downtown Colorado Springs.
