Crews put out fire in residential area in Southeast Colorado Springs
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- Crews reported just after 4 p.m. the fire at 2249 Sumter Drive was out and under control.
According to CSFD, the house fire displaced five people and two pets due to extensive fire and smoke damage.
CSFD says the cause of the fire is still unknown.

The Colorado Springs Fire Department is on the scene of a working fire in the southeast part of town.
At 1:50 p.m., CSFD said crews were at 2249 Sumter Drive. At this time, crews report heavy smoke and fire showing.
