Griffin Jax becomes first Air Force player in MLB

Never before had a graduate of the Air Force Academy made it to a Major League Baseball roster.

Griffin Jax changed that.

The Colorado native, and Air Force Academy graduate, was promoted to the Minnesota Twins roster. Jax didn't make his debut on Saturday, but it seems inevitable. When he does debut, he will wear number 83.

Jax was drafted by the Twins in the third round of the 2016 draft. He was also drafted out of Cherry Creek high school in 2013, but did not sign with the Phillies.
