Victim identified after house fire on W. Cheyenne Road

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- The El Paso County Coroner's Office identified the deceased person found May 10, at 22. W. Cheyenne Road after a structure fire.

On Monday, May 10, Colorado Springs Fire Department responded to reports of a structure fire. Roughly 20 minutes after the fire was out, firefighters discovered a dead body behind the building.

Crews determined the victim's injuries appeared unrelated to the fire, so the Colorado Springs Police Department was called in.

On Wednesday, the Coroner's Office identified the victim as Theresa Graham, 74, of Colorado Springs.

The Coroner's Office has yet to determine the official cause of death, however, Graham's death is being investigated as a homicide.
