3 injured in shooting on Highway 50 West in Pueblo

PUEBLO, Colo. (KRDO) -- Three people were injured in a shooting Friday night on U.S. Highway 50 West., just east of Pueblo Blvd.

According to the Pueblo County Sheriff's Office, it happened around 9:30 p.m., when a car traveling east toward the city, was shot at several times by another car.

The driver of one of the vehicles drove to the Rodeway Inn on Club Manor Dr., according to officials, where Pueblo Police made contact.

A KRDO crew on scene spoke with witnesses in the area, who said they did not hear shots at the Inn, but confirmed there were several officers and ambulances in the area.

Three adults in the vehicle were transported to a local hospital with gunshot wounds. An infant also in the car at the time of the shooting was unharmed.

The shooting remains under investigation. The Pueblo County Sheriff's Office asks anyone with information to call 583-6400 or Crime Stoppers at (719) 542-STOP (7867).
