Thomas Maclaren School fights for state crown

The Thomas Maclaren School soccer team saw its brilliant season come to an end with a 2-1 loss to Crested Butte in the 2A state championship game.

The Highlanders reached the state championship game in just their third full season, and most of their players will return next season.

Despite the loss, goalkeeper Jeth Fogg was outstanding. Michael Brophy scored the lone goal for TMS off of a brilliant corner kick from Matthew Zimmer.
