2 killed, 2 others injured in motorcycle-vehicle crash in Pueblo Saturday
PUEBLO, Colo. (KRDO) -- Colorado State Patrol is investigating, after a multi-vehicle crash Saturday evening that left two people dead and two others injured.
It happened on Highway 50C, near Marie Ave. at around 5:27 p.m., involving a motorcycle and another vehicle.
When troopers arrived, they found a 67-year-old Pueblo woman, a passenger on the motorcycle, died on scene. The 59-year-old male rider, also from Pueblo, was transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. He later died at the hospital.
Following an investigation, officials determined a 2001 Honda Passport, driven by an 84-year-old Beulah
man, was heading eastbound on Highway 50C and attempted to turn north onto Marie Ave.
The Honda turned in front of a Harley Davidson motorcycle heading west, colliding in the intersection.
A 78-year-old female from Beulah in the Honda was transported to a hospital, along with the driver for their injuries.
Highway 50C was closed for over 3 hours while officials investigated.
