Sheriff: Tenant unaccounted for after house fire in Aguilar

AGUILAR, Colo. (KRDO) -- The resident of a home is still not accounted for following a house fire in Aguilar.

According to the Las Animas County Sheriff's Office, a fully engulfed residential fire was reported Wednesday at 303 S. San Antonio around 11:27 p.m.

Various volunteer fire departments and Las Animas County Sheriff Deputies were dispatched to the scene.

LASO remained at the scene until the Aguilar Marshall arrived, who took over the investigation.

Now, the Las Animas County Fire Investigator from the Judicial District Attorney is investigating the origins of the fire and the potential cause of the fire.
