FEMA teams up with D60 to provide vaccine at Pueblo High Schools
PUEBLO, Colo. (KRDO) -- On Friday, FEMA will be joining forces with Pueblo School District 60 to provide the first dose of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine to anyone older the 16 at Pueblo Central High School.
The one-day clinic will open at 10 a.m., and pre-registration is unnecessary. However, students younger than 18 need a waiver signed by their parents in order to be vaccinated.
The clinic isn't exclusive to students or their families. Any community member can receive the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine at no charge.
Pueblo Central High School won't be the only D60 high school to host a clinic. Here is a full list of the clinics for first and second doses of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine.
Central: April 23 (first dose) and May 14 (second)
South: April 28 and May 19
Centennial: April 30 and May 21
East: May 7 and May 28
All clinics will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., except for Pueblo South High School. South's first and second dose clinics will operate from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
