Storage hub for Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine will be located in Pueblo County
PUEBLO, Colo. (KRDO) -- As the Pfizer vaccine for COVID-19 is rolled out in the state of Colorado, one of the nine hubs needed to store the vaccine will be located within Pueblo County.
According to the Colorado Department of Health and Environment, the Pfizer vaccine will be stored at ultra-low temperatures before going to providers around the state.
It is unclear where the Pfizer Vaccine Storage hub will be located within Pueblo County.
According to Rachel Morris with Parkview Medical Center, Pueblo County is slated to receive 1,000 doses of the Pfizer vaccine for its residents for the first batch. However, it's unclear who is prioritized to get the vaccine first.
