Suspect charged in deadly hotel shooting last month
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- The Colorado Springs Police Department identified Ronald Amon Williams Junior as the suspect in a deadly shooting in November and charged the 29-year-old with the murder of Rebecca Smith.
CSP says Williams was identified on Monday and was served Tuesday afternoon with the charges. He was already in custody at the El Paso County Jail for unrelated charges.
Police accuse him of shooting and killing Smith, 27, at the Rodeway Inn on November 18.
Officers say this is still an active investigation and further details will be released.
