Winter Weather Advisories are in effect from 3am till 12pm Tuesday.

As the cold front passes over the region after midnight, intensity of the winds and rain/snow showers will increase. Precipitation could start as rain for valley locations then quickly chance over to snow as temperatures cool to below freezing values. Wind gusts will likely reach 40-50mph during the frontal passage and gradually decrease during the afternoon hours. But the breezy conditions will make for blowing and drifting snow and wind chill values in the 20s for much of the day. Stay tuned for updates.
