Deputies need help identifying porch pirate in El Paso County

EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO) -- The El Paso County Sheriff's Office is asking for help to identify the suspect in a package theft.

On Wednesday morning, deputies say an unknown suspect stole a package in the 6700 block of Mission Road. The victim's surveillance footage shows the suspect driving in the neighborhood and exiting the vehicle to steal the package.

The suspect is described as a white man in his 30s to 40s with a buzzed head and stubble on his face. He is seen smoking a cigarette and wearing a black shirt, blue jeans, and black and white shoes.

The suspect vehicle appears to be a white pickup truck with a silver toolbox in the back.

  1. In the Ring doorbell app, these happen every day in Colorado Springs with pictures as good as this one but they don’t end up on multiple news sources.

    So… What was in the box this time that’s so important?

      1. I don’t see any difference between this guy and our government. That being said, why is this even news? We have a government that spends like crazy and they say, “the only way we can fix it is by giving them more money”! And many of you saps fall for it because they add a cute little jingle to make you feel guilty! “IT’S FOR THE KIDS”. Ohhhh, that just melts my heart. Please take everything in my savings while you’re at it. Every year you people vote on it too!
