Pueblo police arrest teenage suspect in attempted homicide

PUEBLO, Colo. (KRDO) -- Police have arrested a suspect after an attempted homicide in Pueblo on Oct. 31.

Just before midnight on Oct. 31, a man with severe gunshot wounds sought treatment at Parkview Medical Center. Officers interviewed the victim and learned that shooting happened in the 900 block of E. 11th street.

Detectives identified the suspect as 19-year-old Raymond Bencomo during their investigation.

Police arrested Bencomo on Wednesday and booked him into the Pueblo County Detention Center. He is facing charges for attempted first degree murder.
