Gang-related homicide under investigation near Pueblo Mall
PUEBLO, Colo. (KRDO) -- Police tell KRDO that a gang-related homicide investigation is underway after a crime scene was set up near the Pueblo Mall Tuesday afternoon.
Police sectioned off an area near 29th Street and Hart Road.

Tuesday night, several suspects were detained in connection to the shooting. Police confirmed the incident is gang-related, but would not comment further. The suspects will be identified after they are formally charged.
Sgt. Franklyn Ortega with Pueblo Police say when police arrived on scene they found a young man unresponsive inside a blue car that mounted the curb near the intersection of Hart and 29th. The young man was pronounced dead at the scene.
"What we do understand is there was some kind of disturbance," said Sgt. Ortega. "This disturbance became mobile, and during this mobile disturbance at least one shot was fired and we have one victim."
Police have not named a suspect or person of interest at this time, however, they do believe the shooter or shooters fled the scene in a vehicle.
