Overnight snow flurries making for a slick Tuesday commute

Tonight: Scattered snow bands will develop along the Palmer Divide and Monument Hill in conjunction with a cold front moving south through the region. Little to no snow accumulation is expected in downtown Colorado Springs or Pueblo. It's possible for northern El Paso County and Douglas County to see minor accumulation, less than 2". That'll be enough to make for slick and/or icy road conditions early Tuesday morning.

Tuesday: The low clouds and snow flurries will clear out before 6am and turn mostly sunny along the I-25 corridor. Sunny skies will persist till the early afternoon and turn partly cloudy for most valley locations, but no precipitation is expected. Highs remaining a couple degrees below seasonal averages, only reaching 48 degrees in Colorado Springs and 52 in Pueblo.

Extended: Entering into a calm and sunny weather pattern for the rest of the workweek. The main weather story will be the trend of cooler temperatures as Colorado Springs will struggle to break out of the 40s through Friday.
