Partial closure at Pueblo Steel Mill due to COVID-19

PUEBLO, Colo (KRDO) -- Portions of the EVRAZ Rocky Mountain Steel facility have temporarily closed due to a COVID-19 outbreak.
The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment reports eight confirmed cases and one suspected case, as of Thursday.
The temporary closure began Wednesday and is expected to last through Friday, according to Director of Communications and Industry Affairs Patrick Waldron.
Waldron says contact tracing has been done to identify employees who might've been exposed to individuals with positive tests.
Other portions of the steel mill are open.
The Rocky Mountain Steel Mill had a breakout in mid-September, which also shut down part of the facility.
