Police arrest man in connection to August 30 murder in Pueblo

PUEBLO, Colo. (KRDO) -- The Pueblo Police Department says it arrested one man Friday in connection to a murder that happened on August 30.

Officers traveled to Jefferson County Jail to serve a first-degree murder warrant for 39-year-old Michael Anthony Stratton. The suspect is accused of killing 39-year-old Michael Hunt earlier this year, according to police.

Hunt's body was found in an alley near 200 South Union on August 30. Detectives investigated the death as a homicide but did not immediately identify any suspects at the time.
