1 killed, 2 hurt in Colorado Springs shooting

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) - The Colorado Springs Police Department is investigating a shooting that left one person dead and several others injured.

Officers were called to a reported disturbance around 5:19 a.m. Thursday, on the 700 block of East Hills Rd. When they arrived they found a man who was deceased.

Another man as well as a woman were located at the scene with serious injuries and transported to the hospital. At this time we do not have an update on their current conditions. Everyone involved has been accounted for and there is no known threat to the community.

The CSPD Violent Crimes unit has assumed the investigation. We will pass along more information as we receive it.
