PUEBLO, Colo. (KRDO) -- If you visited the Sunset Inn in Pueblo in the last week, you're urged to monitor yourself for COVID-19 symptoms and possibly get tested for the coronavirus.

The Pueblo Department of Public Health and Environment got a notice that three employees at Sunset Inn tested positive over a 14-day period, resulting in an outbreak being declared Wednesday. The restaurant is located at 2808 Thatcher Ave.

“Anyone who visited the Sunset Inn between Oct. 1 and Oct. 6 should monitor themselves for symptoms of COVID-19 for at least 14-days after being at the location,” said Randy Evetts, director of the Pueblo Department of Public Health and Environment.

The popular restaurant closed for 72 hours, and a thorough cleaning and disinfection will take place before reopening, according to Pueblo health.

Free testing for COVID-19 is available at the Colorado State Fairgrounds from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and this coming Saturday.
